Theodora Ubachukwu
Theodora is a licensed Canadian Lawyer & Member of the Law Society of Ontario. She is a dual license holder and a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria since the year 2004. She has been practicing law for approximately 19 years combined.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree in the year 2004, she proceeded to the United Kingdom and obtained her Master of Laws Degree (LLM) from the University of Kent at Canterbury, United Kingdom in the year 2006. She obtained her JD Equivalency Certificate from the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA), Federation of Law Societies of Canada, and was called to the Ontario Bar in the year 2019. Theodora also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from George Brown College, Toronto, Canada.
Theodora is a talented lawyer; She acquired over ten (10) years combined legal services, financial services and transactional experience during her previous employment with First Canadian Title (FCT) as a Title Officer, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Toronto and First Bank Limited. Not surprisingly, she also received several client experience awards during her employment and a crystal award from the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) in 2018 for exceeding performance expectations for Real Estate/Mortgage Transactions.
Her time as an In-House Lawyer at First Bank, a Financial Services Representative at CIBC and a Title Officer with First Canadian Title (FCT) deepened her understanding of problems faced by individuals in Real Estate Law, Immigration Law, Employment Law and Family law, as she had to listen to understand Clients’ problems prior to providing solutions. After receiving her Lawyer license from the Law Society of Ontario, Theodora is now focused on providing wholesome and meaningful legal services in these areas.
